Christmas is the busiest season for anyone who makes things: cards, labels, invitations, classroom handouts, social media posts, small shop products. A set of clean, ready-to-use Christmas graphics saves hours, because you do not have to draw every tree and snowflake yourself. Here is how to use Christmas clipart, how to avoid the most common mistakes, and the bundle I designed to make it easy.
What Is Clipart, and Why Use PNG Files?
Clipart is a ready-made graphic you can drop into your own design. The best format for this is PNG with a transparent background. A transparent background means there is no white box around the picture, so you can place a snowflake or a gift box over a colored background, a photo or a pattern, and it looks clean.
My Christmas Clipart Bundle
I designed a set of 24 Christmas graphics, each saved as a high-resolution PNG (2000 x 2000 px) with a transparent background, in a cozy palette of red, green, gold and cream:
- Decorations: Christmas tree, three baubles (red, green and gold), star, wreath, bell, bow and candle.
- Winter and nature: holly, mistletoe, poinsettia, pine branch, pinecone and two snowflakes.
- Characters and treats: snowman, gingerbread man, Santa hat, mitten, stocking, candy cane, cocoa mug and gift box.
A short terms-of-use PDF is included, so you know exactly how you can use the files.

Ideas for Using Christmas Clipart
- Christmas cards and invitations: add a wreath or a snowflake to a plain card layout.
- Gift tags and labels: a small bauble or star next to a name looks lovely and takes seconds.
- Planners and printables: decorate your Christmas to-do list, gift list or meal planner.
- Classroom materials: worksheets, certificates, bulletin boards and party invitations.
- Social media: story backgrounds, countdown posts and "Merry Christmas" greetings for your page or small business.
- Crafts and scrapbooking: print on cardstock, cut out and glue into journals and albums.
How to Use PNG Clipart in Canva, Word or PowerPoint
- Download the ZIP file after purchase and unzip it.
- Open your design program (Canva, Word, PowerPoint, Google Slides and others all work).
- Drag and drop a PNG file onto your page, or use the Upload button.
- Resize it by dragging a corner, and move it where you like. The quality stays sharp.
- Combine several graphics to make your own scenes, for example a tree with a star, baubles and gifts around it.
Tips for Better-Looking Christmas Designs
- Stick to a small palette. Red, green, gold and cream always look festive together.
- Leave white space. A few graphics with room around them look more elegant than a crowded page.
- Repeat one or two graphics. A row of small baubles or stars makes a quick border.
- Check the size before printing. If you print a graphic very large, make sure it still looks sharp in the preview.
Personal Use and Small Commercial Use
Always read the license of any clipart you buy. With my bundle, you can use the graphics for personal projects and also in your own products for sale, as long as the graphics are part of a larger design (for example a card, a planner or a printable). You cannot resell or share the original files, or sell them as clipart. The full details are in the PDF that comes with the bundle.
Happy designing and merry Christmas! 🎄
